What is the difference between Charging Mode and Reverse Mode?

Charging Mode: When connected through the PPS XT60i port connection cable, the vehicle's starter battery charges the portable power station.

Reverse Mode: When connected through the expansion port output cable, the power station charges the vehicle's starter battery.
