What is the Backup Reserve feature of Anker SOLIX Solarbank Max AC?
Backup Reserve is a reserved portion of battery capacity retained for emergencies. Similar to a vehicle maintaining a fuel reserve, you can set a minimum state of charge (SoC), for example 15%. This reserved energy is not used during normal operation and is dedicated exclusively to backup power in the event of a grid outage.
This feature is designed to ensure readiness for unexpected outages, including power failures, extreme weather events, or other emergencies. When the grid is unavailable, critical devices connected to Solarbank Max AC's off-grid output can draw immediately from the reserved capacity, helping to prevent downtime.
