View Video Details

Manage Event History

Donate Video

To view video recordings captured by your Indoor Cam E30, use the Events tab in the eufy Security app. Here's how to access and manage your video recordings:

  1. Access the Events Screen

    • Tap the Events tab on the home screen.

    • Slide up the menu in the live view screen and tap the Events icon.

  2. Video Snapshots & Timeline

    • Video snapshots and timelines of the events detected by the camera.

    • Events are labeled with detection time and activity type.

    • Use the timeline to scroll through all recorded events.

  3. Event Details

    • Specific Device: Each event is linked to a device, indicating where the event occurred.

    • Detected Time: Shows when the motion or sound was detected.

    • Activity Type: The type of event that triggered the camera.

      • Motion (movement of objects or people detected)

      • Human (person or face detected)

      • Pet (pet detected)

      • Sound (noise detected)

      • Crying (baby crying sound detected)

  4. Person/Face/Pet List

    • When the camera detects people, faces, or pets, their preview photos will be displayed via thumbnails when notifications are sent to your phone or tablet.

 

View Video Details

  • Tap on a specific event to view the recorded video.

  • The video will automatically play on your phone or tablet.

 

Manage Event History

  1. Delete Recorded Events

    • To delete events, select the videos you want to delete (or select all) and tap the Delete button to confirm.

    • Once video recordings are deleted, they will be permanently deleted from the device’s local storage and cannot be recovered.

  2. Access for Guests

    • Guests invited by the device owner can view all recorded events.

    • Only the device owner can manage or delete the recorded events in the eufy Security app.

 

Donate Video

If you encounter issues with your video recordings, consider donating footage to us to resolve your issues.

  1. Select a video recording you wish to donate and play the video on your phone or tablet.

  2. Tap the Donate icon at the bottom of the screen in the video recording.
