What is the name of your app in the Apple store?

Does the eufyCam 2C system require Wi-Fi?
Yes, for the very first set up, the HomeBase 2 has to connect to the Internet via Ethernet cable, after that it can change to the Wi-Fi connection.
Does this work with 5G Wi-Fi?
It can't work with 5G Wi-Fi. It only works with 2.4G Wi-Fi.
Does this support POE for the cameras instead of using Wi-Fi?
No, it doesn’t.
Does eufyCam 2C have free iCloud?
We are sorry that they don't have free iCloud. We provide 16GB local storage on HomeBase 2.
When will the USB expansion be supported?
We are exploring the possibility of a USB storage dongle that will allow users to expand the storage. Please stay tuned.
After 3 months of local storage, do I have to subscribe and make a monthly payment?
The recording will be overwritten when the storage is full and you don't need to subscribe and make a monthly payment.
Can I transfer the local videos stored in the HomeBase to my computer?
For security reasons, we are sorry that you cannot transfer the local videos stored in the HomeBase to your computer directly and you can only download the videos from the App.
Can I access stored recordings remotely?
If the system is working properly and your phone has access to the Internet, you will be able to access recordings stored in the built-in eMMC card remotely.
Can I buy an SD card to expand the HomeBase 2’s storage?
No. The HomeBase 2’s storage cannot be expanded via SD card.
Does this have the ability to constantly record?
No, it doesn’t. eufyCam 2/2C/2 Pro/2C Pro capture videos according to the motion detection.
What is the maximum number of cameras that can be attached to one HomeBase 2?
At most 16 cameras and 16 sensors.
How many hours does the eufyCam 2C have for the Spotlight?
Currently, if the spotlight is turned on for 10 mins, it will consume 1.15% of the eufyCam 2C battery.
What is the average data consumption needed per month?
In most common scenarios, a HomeBase and two cameras will consume about 528 MB per month. The test was done in the following conditions:
- Live view three times per camera per day
- Live view for 30 seconds each time
- The streaming rate is 100KB/s.
The data consumption varies, depending on the number of times live feed is watched, live streaming time duration, and streaming rate.
How many times can the battery in a camera be charged?
The battery in eufyCam 2C can last for 300 times of charging cycle, which means 300 times from 0% to 100% and then to 0%. This is enough to last for more than 5 years of normal product use.
How many lumens is the spotlight?
The spotlight is 12 LUX at a 1m distance.
App Setup
Can the HomeBase be connected via Wi-Fi as well? Or does it require an Ethernet cable only?
You have both options available. During the setup process, HomeBase must connect to a router via an Ethernet cable. After setup, HomeBase can be switched to a Wi-Fi connection in the Side menu > My Devices > Select HomeBase > HomeBase Settings > Connection.
What is the max range from HomeBase to the camera?
20-30ft. The actual range will vary depending on a number of factors such as the thickness of walls, obstacles inside the house, and the location of HomeBase.
How far can the HomeBase be placed from the router?
In theory, the HomeBase can be 50ft from the WI-Fi router. The actual range will vary depending on a number of factors such as the thickness of walls, obstacles inside the house, and the location of the router.
What is the farthest distance where motion can activate the camera?
Detection sensitivity, mounting height, and mounting angle will determine the detection distance.
We recommend that you adjust the detection sensitivity as needed. The installation height should not exceed 3m, and the installation tilt angle should not exceed 25°. Due to the PIR characteristics of the camera, it is recommended that you install the camera side as much as possible.
The motion sensor can detect objects lateral moving up to 25-30ft (8-10m) away.
Does this support HomeKit yet?
Yes, eufyCam 2/2C/2 Pro/2C Pro supports Homekit.
Is it compatible with the Alexa Echo Show/Google Nest Hub?

How long can the live feed be viewed?
You can view the live feed for up to five minutes.
Will this send a text message when it detects motion? Will it auto record for a time?
When it detects motion, the system can be set to send a notification to the phone and record a video automatically. It depends on the settings in the eufy App.
Can you go back and review footage from throughout the day?
Yes.
Will it reconnect to Wi-Fi in case the connection is dropped for some time or you have to do it manually?
It will be reconnected to Wi-Fi in case the connection is dropped for some time.
Can I link the 2C cameras to more than one HomeBase?
We are sorry that the camera can't be added to more than one HomeBase.

Is mounting hardware included?
Yes.
Can it be mounted onto a brick?
Yes, it can be mounted to brick. Just use a masonry bit to drill into the brick for mounting.
Can I place the camera on a flat surface or mount it to a wall or ceiling?
Yes, you can place your camera on a flat surface or mount it to a wall or ceiling.
Do you get extra batteries?
No, The battery is built-in and rechargeable with a USB cable. We recommend using a 5V 1A charger to charge the camera. You can also charge it via eufy solar panel.
Can the device be plugged into a solar power panel?
Yes, you can plug the eufyCam 2C into a solar power panel.
Do I have to replace the batteries or recharge when the 180 days are up?
No. You only need to recharge the battery when the battery is running out.
