If your eufy Pet Camera D605 failed to record events, please try the following troubleshooting steps to verify if the issue can be resolved.
Storage Method
In order to save video recordings, eufy Pet Camera D605 will need to have a working eMMC chip built-in on the camera. Please try formatting the eMMC chip by launching the eufy Pet app > Profile tab > My Devices > Pet Camera D605 > Local Storage > Format.
Note: Formatting the eMMC chip will permanently delete all of the video recordings that are currently saved on the Pet Camera D605’s local storage.
Camera Settings
Please verify the following settings have been enabled and correctly configured for the camera to record events.
- Camera is turned on: eufy Pet app > Profile tab > My Devices > Pet Camera D605 > Camera Settings > Camera On.
- Camera’s motion detection types have been configured and a proper sensitivity level has been set: eufy Pet app > Profile tab > My Devices > Pet Camera D605 > Camera Settings > Motion Detection.
- Camera’s sound detection types have been configured and a proper sensitivity level has been set: eufy Pet app > Profile tab > My Devices > Pet Camera D605 > Camera Settings > Sound Detection.
