What happens if someone steals the camera? Are all video recordings gone?
Unfortunately, video recordings will be gone if the user does not have a cloud subscription to store videos in the cloud. However, these video recordings will remain encrypted and cannot be viewed by anyone who does not have the device owner’s permission.
Does it need a hub to work with HomeKit Secure Video?

How many megapixels does eufy Indoor Cam 2K have?
eufy Indoor Cam 2K has a video resolution of 2304 x 1296 pixels.
How much does eufy cloud backup cost?

Can I speak to the other person in front of the camera and hear him at the same time?
No. eufy Indoor Cam 2K supports half-duplex two-way audio. An example of a half-duplex device is a walkie-talkie.
Does eufy Indoor Cam 2K work with Amazon Key?
No. eufy Indoor Cam 2K does not support Amazon Key.
How do I insert the microSD card?
Please insert the microSD card with the gold contacts facing the camera lens and slowly push the microSD card into the camera until it clicks into place.
What happens if there is no microSD card installed?
eufy Indoor Cam 2K will still play live view without a microSD card installed, but it will not save video recordings. The user has an option to subscribe to eufy cloud backup if that is a preferred method instead of using a microSD card.
When recording motion in 2K, what is the longest video clip eufy Indoor Cam 2K will record before stopping and starting a new recording?
eufy Indoor Cam 2K will continue to record the same video as long as it is detecting motion.
Do I need to install a microSD card if I use HomeKit to watch live view and recorded videos?
No. Video recordings will be stored in iCloud if the user uses HomeKit and has HomeKit Secure Video.
What types of microSD cards are recommended?

Can I turn off audio for streaming for privacy purposes?
Yes. Audio can be muted on eufy Indoor Cam 2K after the user launches eufy app and selects Camera Settings > Audio Settings > Audio Recording to disable audio recording when the camera records videos.
What does each LED indicator color represent?
Solid blue light: Camera is powered on and working properly.
Solid red light: User is viewing live streaming or recorded events.
Flashing red light: Camera is disconnected from the WiFi network.
When will HomeBase support be added to connect eufy Indoor Cam 2K to a HomeBase?
Currently, eufy does not have plans to integrate eufy Indoor Cam 2K with HomeBase.
What does the interval time setting do?
The interval time is the time between event notification and recording, which can be adjusted between 0 to 5 minutes.
Is eufy Indoor Cam 2K’s base magnetic?
No. eufy Indoor Cam 2K’s base is not magnetic.
Will eufy Indoor Cam 2K be available in black?
Currently, eufy does not have plans to release eufy Indoor Cam 2K in black.
Can I insert a microSD card to record continuously and use HomeKit to record motion?
No. Video recordings will only be able to save in iCloud when the user uses HomeKit Secure Video.
Does eufy app settings sync with HomeKit settings?
No. eufy app and Apple’s Home app have different working logic and settings cannot be synced.
Can I save 24/7 recording on my cloud backup?
No. Only video recordings triggered by motion or sound are saved in cloud backup.
Does eufy Indoor Cam 2K have the geofencing feature?
Yes. eufy Indoor Cam 2K has the geofencing feature, please make sure eufySecuirty app is updated to the latest version.
Can eufy Indoor Cam 2K be used inside a window facing out?
Please note a glass window’s reflection will impact the accuracy of AI detection; therefore, it is not recommended to use eufy Indoor Cam 2K to detect motion through a glass window.
Can eufy Indoor Cam 2K be mounted on a ceiling?
Yes. eufy Indoor Cam 2K can be mounted on a ceiling.
Can eufy Indoor Cam 2K rotate by the user manually controlling it using the eufy app while away from home?
Yes. eufy Indoor Cam 2K can be controlled by the user using the eufy app while away from home.
Do activity zones work when eufy Indoor Cam 2K is using HomeKit?
Yes. Please make sure to update the iOS on iPhone or iPad to iOS 14 or newer.
Is there a monthly fee to use the eufy app?

What happens when the microSD card is full?
eufy Indoor Cam 2K will overwrite the oldest video recordings when it records new videos.
Does eufy Indoor Cam 2K support IFTTT?
