eufy Pet Camera may sometimes miss motion activities based on several factors, please refer to the following factors that may lead to the Pet Camera missing motion activities and how to correct them.

• Cause: In some cases, if the motion detection sensitivity of the Pet Camera is set too low, the camera will not detect any minor movement, resulting in missing motion detection and not recording videos.

Solution: To minimize the possibility of missing motion detection, you can increase the sensitivity level by launching eufy Pet app > Camera Settings > Motion Detection > adjust the Detection Sensitivity accordingly. 

• Cause: eufy Pet Camera will detect motion when motion activity occurs inside the camera’s field of view or customized activity zones. If the Pet Camera has activity zones configured, it may miss motion activities that occur outside of the pre-set activity zones.

Solution: To minimize the possibility of missing motion detection, you can either not set any activity zones or remove existing activity zones by launching eufy Pet app > Camera Settings > Motion Detection > Activity Zone > remove activity zones and the Pet Camera will be monitoring activities in its entire field of view.
