If you run into problems with the notice "the user you invite belongs to different data centers, and for reasons of data protection policies, you cannot share devices" or "This account is not registered with the eufy Clean app in the current region. You can invite family or friends to download the app. ", you might have doubts as to why I cannot share the device’s access with another person in the same household. If the two accounts are not in the same area, the error may also display as "sharing invitation Not exist".

That is because both accounts of the sharer and the sharee should be in the same region. It’s not the physical location, but the “region/location” selected when a user registers a new account. You’d get an on-screen notice when you change the region.

Why cannot the device be shared across regions?

EufyHome uses your country to ensure that your personal information is stored and managed according to your country’s data privacy laws. Thus a RoboVac cannot be controlled by different accounts in different regions.

The EufyHome cloud server is different in different countries, the information cannot be shared cross servers.
What if the 2 accounts have been registered in different regions already? Can eufy change the region directly?
Eufy does not have any direct access or cannot change any data linked to your account due to privacy regulations. You can register a new account with a new email address, or delete the original account and register it again.
