If you own a eufy Clean X9 Pro, please refer to the following video at the 2:21 mark in the video to make sure you have correctly set the schedule on your robot vacuum by using the eufy Clean app:
If you own a eufy Clean X10 Pro Omni, please refer to the following video at the 2:40 mark in the video to make sure you have correctly set a schedule on your robotic vacuum cleaner by using the eufy Clean app:
After the schedule has been configured if the robot vacuum does not run on a schedule or not starting at all at a scheduled time (for example: set a scheduled cleaning on Saturday at 3:00 PM, but the robot vacuum does not run at this time), please try the following troubleshooting steps:
- Make sure the robot vacuum is turned on. The robot vacuum will only start cleaning according to the schedule set by the user when it is powered on.
- Ensure that the "Auto-return Cleaning" feature on the app is disabled. This feature causes the robot vacuum to automatically return to the same place to resume cleaning when the battery level is recharged to 80%. If your app has a scheduled cleaning that is set at this time, the robot vacuum will not run according to this schedule because it will resume cleaning to finish the previous cleaning cycle.
- Ensure that the robot vacuum is connected to the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and has a stable internet connection. If the X9 Pro goes offline, please reset the Wi-Fi and reconnect the robot vacuum to the network.
- Ensure that the map of your home has not changed. If the map has changed, the scheduled cleaning will not start. To update the map, please run a complete cleaning cycle and allow the robot vacuum to map your home again.
- If you have verified the above steps and the issue still persists, please cancel the previously scheduled cleaning > remove your robot vacuum from the Settings page on the app > upgrade the eufy Clean app and the robot vacuum's firmware > reconnect your robot vacuum to the eufy Clean app and set a new schedule to test it out.
If your robot vacuum starts cleaning automatically without a schedule, please try the following troubleshooting steps:
- Verify the time zone of your app is the same as your phone's time zone.
- Make sure the "Auto-return Cleaning" feature on the app is disabled.
- Additionally, using Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant to control the robot vacuum may cause the robot vacuum to start cleaning by itself. Check to make sure you have disconnected Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant from the robot vacuum.
In addition, please be aware of the following considerations for scheduling cleaning:
1. If the robot vacuum was offline (without Wi-Fi resetting and the robot vacuum is now back online), the previously set appointment will remain effective as usual.
2. If the Wi-Fi has been reset, the previously set appointment would usually be invalidated. However, the following conditions apply after the network is re-configured:
a. If the robot vacuum is connected to the same account as before, it will revert to the previous schedule settings of that account.
b. If the robot vacuum is connected to a different account than the previous one, the schedule will need to be reset.
3. If you press the hard reset button for 5-10 seconds (found to the left of the wifi indicator), the previously set schedule will still work as normal after the robot vacuum reboots.
