Regularly clean the lens of the camera. Spider webs, water stains, and tiny dust particles can pose a significant issue for outdoor security cameras. Spider webs will obstruct the lens with their threads, creating a false impression of lens malfunction, whereas dust and water droplets will result in a blurry image. Make sure to regularly clean your security camera with a clean cloth.

Choose an ideal location to mount the camera. Refrain from mounting the camera too close to a wall or a light fixture. Mounting a camera too close to a wall or a light source results in light reflections during the night, thereby affecting the quality of the video image. Furthermore, the camera's image quality is impacted by its mounting height and infrared range. Generally, your eufyCam E40 features night vision that reaches up to 5m/16ft; therefore, the camera may have difficulty detecting objects or movement if they are beyond 5m/16ft from it.
