If your eufyCam E40 is not detecting motion, please try the following troubleshooting steps:

Ensure that the movement you wish the camera to detect is within its field of view and does not exceed 8m/26ft from the camera. Furthermore, make sure that the Motion Detection feature is enabled in the camera's settings.

To adjust the sensitivity of your camera’s motion detection, launch the eufy app > select the eufyCam E40 > Camera Settings > Motion Detection.

Confirm that the “Video Recording” and “Notification” options are enabled in the Security mode.

Launch the eufy app > select the Smart tab located at the bottom of the screen > Home/Away mode > Settings > enable the “Video Recording” and “Notification” options.

Make sure the camera is not mounted behind a glass window.
