If your S1 and S1 Pro cannot clean efficiently, please refer to the following common causes and solutions to resolve the issue.
Common Causes:
-
There may be excessive obstacles or furniture that cause the robot to need to navigate around these obstacles and furniture to clean, which can reduce the cleaning efficiency of the robot.
-
If there are too many partitions, the robot may need to clean along the edges of each partition, which can be time-consuming.
-
The robot's radar sensor window may be dusty or covered in dirt and debris.
-
The left and right wheels may have accumulated excessive amounts of debris.
-
The swivel wheel may be stuck or cannot rotate smoothly.
-
The floor might have oil stains or is very dirty.
Solutions:
-
If possible, please remove cluttered objects from the floor before running the S1 and S1 Pro to reduce the number of obstacles in the robot's cleaning path.
-
Consider merging smaller sections of each partition to decrease the number of times the robot has to clean along the edges.
-
Clean the robot's radar sensor window to ensure it is not covered in dirt and debris.
-
Check the left and right wheels for debris and clean them thoroughly.
-
Clean the swivel wheel to ensure it can rotate smoothly.
-
If the floor has oil stains or is extremely dusty, please start the robot and run a few cleaning sessions to achieve optimal cleaning results.
