What should I do if my Omni C20 cannot automatically activate the Auto-Empty feature to collect dust?

Scenario 1: The base station displays a steady red light.

Troubleshooting steps:

  1. Please verify that the dust bag in the base station is installed correctly.

  2. Please remove and reinstall the dust bag to see if the problem persists. Normally, you should hear a "click" sound when the dust bag is correctly fitted in the base station.

  3. Adjust the cardboard of the dust bag: Before installation, wrap some adhesive tape around the cardboard. If you hear a "click" sound and the steady red light on the base station switches to a white light, it suggests that the cardboard dimensions were incorrect. Please watch the following video for visual assistance: https://dz02g1kgtiysz.cloudfront.net/deals/files/241106_161019_dust-bag-issue.mp4

If the above troubleshooting steps do not fix the issue, the base station might need to be replaced.

Scenario 2: The base station displays a steady white light.

Troubleshooting steps:

  1. It is important to know that the Omni C20 must operate for at least five minutes before the Auto-Empty feature can be activated to collect dust. Please verify the cleaning duration of the robot vacuum and whether it has finished a cleaning task.

  2. The Omni C20 will not automatically activate the Auto-Empty feature while it is set to "Do Not Disturb" mode. Please check if the "Do Not Disturb" mode is currently activated.

  3. Please verify that the base station can power on properly. If the base station powers on but the Omni C20 is unable to charge, please follow these troubleshooting steps:

    1. Ensure the robot vacuum is making proper contact with the charging pins of the base station when it returns. If the robot is correctly positioned but cannot touch the charging pins, the pins may be stuck. Try pressing the charging pins of the base station to check if that resolves the issue.

    2. After unplugging the power cord from the base station, carefully clean the charging pins on both the base station and the robot with a clean cloth. Once the pins are dry, return the robot to the base station to determine if it can charge normally.

If the above troubleshooting steps do not fix the issue, kindly follow the instructions below:

  1. Launch the app and turn on the Log Upload feature.

  2. Place the Omni C20 at the base station.

  3. Start the Omni C20 from the base station to perform cleaning and dust collection tasks. This procedure will help us identify the issue's root cause.
