If your RoboVac G series stops with Error S3: Side brush error voice alert, please try the following troubleshooting steps:
- For Error S3 only, make sure the firmware version has been updated to the related article.
- Remove the side brush and remove any hair and debris from both the connector on the vacuum and the side brush.
(After cleaning the vacuum and the side brush, make sure the side brush is securely connected to the RoboVac to prevent it from falling off while RoboVac is running. Then you can check whether the side brush issue persists.)
- If the issue persists after thoroughly cleaning the side brush, please run the RoboVac without using the side brush to verify if the issue can be resolved.
In most cases, a new side brush motor can resolve this specific issue. If you need to purchase a replacement side brush motor and you are currently residing in the US, you can order it here and refer to the video to replace the part.
