If your E28 robot emits an unpleasant odor during its operation, please try the following troubleshooting steps:
-
-
Please check for any blockages in the robot's dirty water tank and dustbin. If they are blocked, clean them thoroughly and observe if the odor remains. Please note that regular maintenance is recommended to prevent the robot from emitting any unpleasant odor.
-
Ensure that the roller mop is completely dry. If your roller mop is not drying completely, please read the article What should I do if my E25/E28 roller mop isn't didn't get fully dried for steps on how to dry the roller mop correctly.
-
If the dirty water tank is left unemptied for an extended period, it may cause fermentation and unpleasant odors. Ensure you perform regular maintenance on your dirty water tank to prevent it from generating any unpleasant odors.
-
If you have pets at home and the E28 robot has come into contact with pet waste, leading to an unpleasant odor. In this scenario, the app's Roller Self-Cleaning feature may not fully remove all residue. In such cases, please soak the roller mop into a cleaning solution and manually clean it. Regular maintenance of the roller mop is recommended to ensure optimal performance and hygiene.
-
It is recommended to use a suitable eufy cleaning solution to avoid odor development and reduce maintenance frequency.
