If you are experiencing issues with your C10 failing to return to its Station, there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue. This article is designed to provide step-by-step instructions on how to make sure your C10 can successfully return to its Station.
-
Checking the Indicator Light on the Station
The first step is to check the indicator light on the Station and confirm it is displaying a steady light. If the Station does not display a steady light, it could indicate that the power cord is not properly connected. Please make sure that the power cord is securely plugged into a functioning wall outlet.
-
Inspecting the Swivel Wheel
Sometimes, debris can get caught in the swivel wheel, thus preventing the robotic vacuum cleaner from navigating back to the Station. Please remove the swivel wheel and clean out any trapped hair or debris. Once cleaned, simply reinstall the swivel wheel and check if the robotic vacuum cleaner can successfully return to the Station.
-
Ensuring Proper Placement of the Station
It is extremely important to ensure that the area around the Station is free of water spills, grease, or other contaminants that may affect the robotic vacuum cleaner's ability to dock successfully. If necessary, place the Station at a new location. The new location should meet the requirements outlined in the user manual, which includes placing the Station in an open area with a specified range of clearance and on a non-slippery surface.Do not place the station on carpets.

Cleaning Charging Contacts and Signal Modules
Dirt and grime can accumulate on the charging contacts and signal modules, which can interfere with the charging process. Please make sure to clean the charging contacts on the robotic vacuum cleaner, the signal receiver module lenses, and the charging prongs and signal transmitter module lenses on the Station. Please refer to the red rectangle areas in the following images for guidance on the specific areas to clean.

Signal Modules
Additionally, if the above troubleshooting steps do not resolve the issue, we recommend using an Android phone to open the camera (since the base station and the robot communicate via infrared signals). Check again to see if you can see three infrared signal lights on the signal receiver module lenses of the base station. If there are no infrared signals, it indicates that the base station needs to be replaced. If you can see the infrared signal lights, it is highly likely that the problem lies with the robot itself, and the robot should be replaced.
By following these troubleshooting steps, you should be able to resolve most issues related to the C10 failing to return to its Station. Additionally, please note that regular maintenance and proper placement of the Station can also help prevent docking issues from occurring and ensure that your robotic vacuum cleaner functions without issues.
