When would you use the safe word?
A Safe Word is a pre-set security phrase for your eufy ExpertSecure System. When you contact our support team or during an alarm event, this word helps verify your identity. It ensures that only authorized users can access your system or account, preventing unauthorized individuals from impersonating you.
When would you use the safe word?
When the monitoring center calls you after receiving an alarm, the verbal security password is the safeword that checks your safety.
To avoid the situation where you are under threat and unable to tell the agent you are in danger (the agent would assume you are under threat by default)
Only when you provide the correct verbal security password will customer service personnel know that you are safe and cancel the alarm. The dispatch will be sent if you fail to say the correct password.
If you don't remember your safeword, you can find and change it at any time using the eufy app or your online account.
