What Should I Do if My RoboVac X8 Hybrid Does Not Dispense Water in Mopping Mode?

What is the purpose of the Mopping feature?

The Mopping feature is designed to bring an extra layer of shine to your floors after RoboVac finishes vacuuming. In order to achieve an optimal mopping result, it is recommended to clean your floors with RoboVac three times before installing the mopping module and using the Mopping feature.

Note: The Mopping feature is only intended to be used on a clean floor without stubborn stains. Additionally, please only use either cold water or eufy RoboVac Hard Floor Cleaning Solution in the water tank to prevent clogging the nozzles.

 

Why is the Mopping feature not working?

If your RoboVac X8 Hybrid does not dispense water during its mopping cycle, please try the following troubleshooting steps to verify if the issue can be resolved.

  • If the RoboVac has been mopping for a while, please check the remaining amount of water or eufy cleaning solution in the water tank.
  • Please verify only cold water or eufy cleaning solution is being used. Any non-eufy cleaning solution or soap water may lead to the nozzles getting clogged.
  • Inspect the water tank and the vacuum to make sure there are no blockages caused by hard water buildup or non-eufy cleaning solution deposits.
  • Verify the water tank’s filter element is not clogged. A simple way to check whether the filter element is blocked is by filling up the water tank and then tilting the tank at an angle to confirm if water flows through the filter element.
  • Verify both the water tank and the dust collector have been properly attached.
  • Please make sure the mopping cloth is not dusty or dirty as it may have difficulty absorbing water after nozzles dispense water.
  • Please make sure the mopping cloth is damp before attaching it to the mopping module underneath the vacuum, and then start the RoboVac to begin mopping your floors.
  • Verify both the mopping cloth and the mopping module have been securely attached to the RoboVac.
