The white switch in the Backup Controller controls the grid-side relay. When off, the relay is open, and the system is off-grid. When on, the relay is closed, and the system is on-grid.
The Anker SOLIX X1 system automatically controls this switch, and manual operation is not required generally. When commissioning, the system automatically flips this switch to ON, as long as grid-side input meets all requirements.

Do NOT manually operate this switch after the system is powered on. Otherwise, the system will consider the relay faulty (Ex: A45 and A44), resulting in commissioning failure. If the switch was flipped manually, follow these steps to resume commissioning:
