In most cases, it is easy to get decent footage stitching results. However, there are still certain scenarios that may affect the accuracy of footage stitching.
1. Unsuitable Viewing Angle
The camera's tilt angle is too large to capture an individual's appearance for successful recognition.
💡 Advice: Adjust the camera position and angle.
2. Human Behavior
Changes in clothing or behavior as an individual moves around may result in the individual being recognized as a different person. For example, a person transitions from walking to riding a bike, or a person puts on a jacket while walking.
3. Blurry Image
An individual may appear blurry in the video because the camera is mounted too high, the individual is too far from the camera, or the camera lens may have fogged up due to weather conditions.
4. Lighting Conditions
Black and white night vision video is challenging to track. Changes in lighting conditions, such as a person moving from outdoors to indoors, or in and out of sunshine can affect the accuracy of recognition.
💡 Advice: Adjust the camera position and angle.
5. Blocked View
The camera has obstacles blocking a clear view of the individual.
💡 Advice: Adjust the camera position and angle.
Additionally, if you come across these scenarios, it is highly recommended to try the following tips:
1) Adjust your camera. For instance, try changing the viewing angle, altering the installation location, and installing additional lights where the camera is installed to provide better lighting at night.
2) Find missing clips using the "Search" function on the tracking video player interface.
3) Mark the issue on the tracking video player interface and share videos with eufy engineers to investigate and improve results with future updates.
