Please confirm the following details:
- Your smartphone is not connected to a Bluetooth device. If your smartphone is connected to a Bluetooth device, such as Bluetooth headphones, then audio will only play from the connected Bluetooth device.
- You have granted proper permissions to the eufy Pet app to access your smartphone’s sound and speaker.
- The “Sound” feature shown in the image below is turned on.
What should I do if my pet cannot hear me through the camera?
Please increase the volume on your eufy Pet Camera by launching the eufy Pet app > Profile > My Devices > Pet Camera > Audio Settings, and then turn up the speaker volume.
What should I do if I cannot speak and listen to my pet at the same time?
Please note eufy Pet Camera supports half-duplex two-way audio, unlike a cellphone, it does not allow audio to be transmitted in both directions at the same time. An example of a half-duplex device is a walkie-talkie.
What should I do if the camera’s audio quality is horrible and constantly cuts in and out?
If you are constantly experiencing audio issues, especially if the audio cuts in and out, please verify the minimum WiFi upload speed is at least 2Mbps as unstable or slow Internet connection will directly impact how smoothly data can be transmitted.
