1. Power off the device completely

1. Power off the device completely

1. Open the Backup Controller panel. Turn off the Backup Controller's main circuit breaker.

2. Turn off the breakers in the Backup Controller for Power Modules and, if available, your solar power system and generator.

3. Press the POWER ON button on the left side of the Power Module. Hold for 8 seconds until the screen turns off.

4. Toggle the BAT switch on the Power Module to OFF.

Notes:

• You must get permission from the homeowner before disconnecting from the grid. 

• If the Backup Controller is not the main service equipment, turn off the circuit breaker upstream.

• Please wait at least six minutes before performing any maintenance on the system to avoid shock and burns from residual electricity.

2. Replace the RMA defective device

3. Power on the device

1. Toggle the BAT switch of the power module to ON.

2. Turn on the breakers for the Power Modules, and, if available, your solar power system and generator.

3. Turn on the main breaker for the Backup Controller and close the panel.

Note: If the Backup Controller is not the main service equipment, turn on the circuit breaker upstream.

4. Wait for 1-2 minutes. When the Power Module display appears and the light bar status is normal, Anker SOLIX X1 is successfully powered on.

4. Use the installer app to repeat the initial setup process

4.1 The device replacement includes the main device Backup Controller

1. Find the site ID corresponding to this location in the installer app.

2. After entering the main interface of this site ID, re-execute Storage Settings, System Configuration, and Post Commissioning in order.

3. In the EMS step of Post Commissioning, you need to refer to the previous configuration to reset the reserve value and EMS mode.

4.2 The device replacement does not include the main device Backup Controller

1. Find the site ID corresponding to this site in the installer app.

2. Re-execute the Add Devices step in Storage Settings.

Add Devices

1. Manually input the numbers of the power modules and battery modules.

2. Tap Refresh to search for the devices automatically.

3. Select Next to move on when you see the message "Device added successfully." If the detected numbers do not match the input numbers, change the input numbers and tap Refresh again.
