If your Video Smart Lock’s image is blurry, grainy, or not showing the way you expect it to, please try the following troubleshooting steps to verify if the issue can be resolved.
Normally, the Video Smart Lock's image quality issue can be divided into four categories according to the specific issue listed below.
Blurry Image
Please be advised that in rainy weather or during freezing temperatures, there may be water condensation or frost on the camera lens that may affect the clarity of the image.
According to the feedback we received from customers, this issue can usually be resolved by using a hairdryer to dry the camera lens.
Pink Image
This is caused by a stuck IR-cut sensor in the device, which can usually be resolved by shaking the Video Smart Lock and then adding it to the eufy Security app again.
Too Bright at Night
If the live view is too bright at night, it is usually caused by the reflection of a wall or a door handle that is in the camera's field of view. Please check the installation of the Video Smart Lock and turn off the light in front of your door.
Black and White Image During the Daytime
Please turn off the "Auto Night Vision" feature to verify if the issue can be resolved.
