If your eufy Smart Lock is discharging quickly, please try the following troubleshooting tip.
Note: Please visit How to Charge eufy Smart Lock for detailed instructions on how to either replace the batteries or recharge the battery based on your Smart Lock model.
1. Please launch the eufySecurity app > select your Smart Lock > Lock Settings > About Device > Check for firmware update, and then update the firmware on your Smart Lock if a new firmware version is available. It is highly recommended to keep the firmware on your device updated to the latest version to ensure its performance and reliability.
If the firmware on your Smart Lock is already on the latest version and the Smart Lock is still discharging quickly under normal usage, please contact us for further assistance.
2. Please do not use third-party plug-ins, clients, and scripts. Some of these are incompatible with eufy products or not well developed, which might lead to faster power consumption.
Note: some devices do not support Homekit, so using Homekit-associated script may also drain a lot of power.
3. Keep the eufySecurity app at the latest version for all users
