What can you do if your cat refuses to drink water from the water fountain?  By placing a cat water fountain does not guarantee your cat will drink water from it.  The location where you place the cat water fountain and how you introduce the water fountain to your cat are the two key points to make sure your cat will enjoy drinking water from the water fountain.

The Location to Place the Petcare Water Fountain

Please do not place the Petcare water fountain at the following locations:

• Heavy-traffic area.
• Near noisy appliances.
• Near a trash can.
• Water can be polluted easily.
• Has direct sunlight.

You can place the water fountain at a location where your cat likes to hang out or play.

Introducing Your Cat to The Petcare Water Fountain

After finding a suitable location to place the water fountain, please fill it with water but do not plug it into an outlet immediately.  The reason is because your cat should get used to the new object first.  After a day or two, refill the water and plug the water fountain into an outlet.  In the meantime, remove all other water sources for a short period of time to observe if your cat starts drinking from the water fountain.  If your cat still refuses to drink water from the water fountain, turn the pump off and refill the water again; at the same time, place other water sources for your cat.  Please then try the process again and your cat will usually get used to the water fountain after a few days.
