Introducing eufy RoboVac Navigation Technology

Every eufy RoboVac is designed using one of the following navigation technologies: Bounce, Dynamic, or iPath. Please refer to the following navigation technologies and their corresponding RoboVac models.

 

Bounce Navigation

RoboVac models are designed using Bounce navigation clean in a randomized pattern and they do not have the ability to create a map of the cleaning area. When cleaning, RoboVac utilizes infrared sensors as it cleans in a back-and-forth straight-line pattern, and it will automatically change directions when it encounters obstacles. Although the cleaning pattern may seem random, RoboVac will eventually cover the areas that need to be cleaned and then returns to its charging base automatically. 

 

Models: 10 / 11 / 11 Plus / 11C / 11C Pet Edition / 11S / 11S Plus / 11S Max / 12 / 15C / 15C Max / 15T / 20 / 25C / 25C Max / 30 / 30C / 30C Max / 35C / R450 / R500 / R550C.

 

Dynamic Navigation

RoboVac models designed using Dynamic navigation clean in a zig-zag pattern and they do not have the ability to store a map of the cleaning area. When cleaning, RoboVac utilizes gyroscope and accelerometer smart sensors, and it is able to know the direction and distance it travels on the floor to automatically determine its cleaning route. Once the entire area has been cleaned, RoboVac will then start cleaning the edges and corners of the house by running along the edge of the walls before it returns to its charging base automatically. 

 

Models: G10 Hybrid / G20 / G20 Hyrbid / G30 / G30 Hybrid / G30 Edge / G30 Verge/G32 Pro/G40/G40 Hybrid/G35+/G40+/G40 Hybrid+/G50/G50 Hybrid.


iPath Navigation

RoboVac models designed using iPath navigation clean in a Z-shaped pattern and they also have the ability to store a cleaning map and use the map for future cleaning sessions. When cleaning, RoboVac utilizes its Lidar sensor to scan its surroundings to precisely create a map, navigate, and clean. Additionally, RoboVac implements SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) Algorithm to intelligently plan its cleaning route to cover areas that need to be cleaned and then returns to its charging base automatically.

 

Models: X9 Pro/LR30 Hybrid series/L35 Hybrid series/L50/L60 series/LR20/ L70 Hybrid / X8 / X8 Hybrid.
