To extend the life of your eufy Petcare water fountain, it is recommended to clean filters every week and the water pump every month, and also replace filters every 2-3 months.  Here is a guide on how to clean filters and the water pump.
 

To Clean the Filters

1. Power off.  Unplug the power adapter to power off.

2. Remove the covers.  Remove the transparent splash-proof cover and the top cover.

3. Take out the filters. 

• Turn over the top cover and then rotate the filter protection cover in a clockwise motion.
• Turn over the filter protection cover to take out the filters.

4. Clean the filters.  Wash the filters with a brush in clean water.

5. Put the filters back.  Operate in the reverse order to put everything back together.

To Clean the Water Pump

1. Disassemble the water pump.  Pick up the water pump and peel off the strainer cover with fingernails.

Note: Keep the device unplugged to remove the top cover.

2. Clean the pump.  Wash the pump with a brush in clean water.

Deep Cleaning of Water Pump

1. Loosen the screws inside with a screwdriver and remove the protective cover.

2. Take out the flywheel inside with a tweezer.

3. Wash all parts of the pump with a brush in clean water.

4. Reassemble it.  Operate in the reverse order to assemble everything back together.
