Before making a purchase, you might be concerned about whether the G series RoboVac can clean your entire house.
The total cleaning area coverage of the G series RoboVac can be roughly estimated by the total area of your house. If a single floor of your house is below 180 sqm (2000 sq ft), then the G10, G20, G30, G40, G50 series and G32 Pro RoboVac should not have any issues cleaning the entire floor. If a single floor of your house is above 180 sqm (2000 sq ft) but below 220 sqm (2400 sqft), then the G+ series is good for you.
All G series models support “Auto-return cleaning” feature so when the initial cleaning cycle does not cover all the areas, RoboVac will return to the charging base to recharge until the battery level is 80% and then automatically navigate back to the same spot where it had initially stopped at continue cleaning the rest of the missing area.
Why is it a rough estimate?
RoboVacs navigate slower and consume more power on carpets, and they also take a longer time maneuvering their way when there are many pieces of furniture and other objects. Additionally, different houses with similar sq ft have different floor plans and furniture layouts, so the usable areas are not going to be the same and can only be roughly estimated.
Also, RoboVac’s runtime varies in different suction modes and on different types of flooring.
