Tips for Using X8 Pro's Main Features via the eufy Clean App
On the control interface, you can check the robot's status, including battery status, real-time cleaning time, cleaning area, and cleaning map.
There are seven main control icons on the control interface
- Cleaning mode: you can choose from Room Clean, Auto Clean, and Zone Clean.
- Edit map: you can set up No-go zones, edit rooms, set cleaning frequency, and rotate the current map.
- Start self-emptying: you can manually start the self-emptying process to empty the robot's dustbin.
- Start roller brush self-cleaning: by clicking this icon, the roller brush will rotate forward and backward to untangle hair.
- Suction and water level: you can select suction levels (Quiet, Standard, Turbo, or Max), water levels (Low, Medium, or High), and enable Boost IQ. You can also set a Customize mode for each room for different suction levels, water levels, and cleaning times.
- Recharge: you can send the robot to its Self-Empty Station or Charging Base.
- Settings: you can select various settings for the robot.
On the Settings interface, you can view the device information by clicking the robot's name. You can also copy the device information by selecting the "Copy Device Information" button located at the bottom.

Manage Map
You can enable the Multi-Map Saving feature on this page and you can also name, revert, and delete a map by clicking the three dots under "Current map".
Schedule
Set up a schedule, then the robot will automatically clean the entire floor at the scheduled time. Under the Schedule interface, you can choose repeat time, cleaning mode (General/Customize), suction mode, water level, and cleaning area (Auto/Room).
Cleaning History
You can view the cleaning record here, which contains information that includes cleaning start time, cleaning area, cleaning time spent, cleaning map, and cleaning path.
Base Station Settings
The robot is designed to automatically empty its dustbin at the Self-Empty Station upon completing a set number of cleaning cycles (lasting more than 15 minutes per cycle) or when the preset self-empty time is reached. Users can also customize the self-emptying frequency of the robot based on either the number of cleaning cycles (after 1, 2, or 3 cycles) or the duration of cleaning time (every 30, 45, or 60 minutes).
Manual Controls
Control the robot by pressing buttons, which include "forward", "counterclockwise rotation", "clockwise rotation", "Spot cleaning" and "Go Home".
Voice Settings
You can set the robot volume and select the correct voice pack according to your personal preferences.

- Do Not Disturb
- The robot will not start auto-return cleaning and the voice prompts are deactivated when the robot is in "Do Not Disturb" mode.
- Auto-Return Cleaning
- When the battery level is too low to continue cleaning, the robot will automatically return to the charging base. Once the battery is charged to 80%, it will resume cleaning in the same area where it left off.
- Child Lock
- When this feature is enabled, the robot's physical buttons will be locked and these physical buttons cannot be used.
- Unit Setting
- Users can set the area unit of how the robot's cleaning area is displayed.

Accessory Services
You can find the accessory's lifespan in this section. After replacing an accessory, please click the corresponding accessory to reset the status and it will count the remaining usage time again. You can purchase more accessories through the official eufy website.
