This article is to show you how to turn up/down or adjust the ringtone for the doorbell, and it applies to all doorbells.
For Battery Doorbell - Adjust through App
1. For battery doorbell work with HomeBase
In this case, HomeBase will act as a chime. You are able to adjust the ringtone type and ringtone volume on the HomeBase on App.
Steps in App: Main Page > Smart > Settings > Indoor Chime > HomeBase as Chime.
2. For battery doorbell work with Wi-Fi Chime
In this case, Wi-Fi Chime will also work as a chime. However, there is no button on the chime to adjust the ringtone and volume. You are able to adjust it through the App.
Steps in App: Main Page > Smart > Settings > Indoor Chime > Ringtone Settings.
For Wired Doorbell - Adjust on the Chime itself
You can customize the ringtone, the alert volume, and the state of your Chime.
1. Ringtone
The Chime has 8 ringtones. Go to your Chime and press the button on the left to cycle through the 8 ringtones.
2. Volume
Press the button on the right side of the Chime to change the volume.
3. Do not disturb
You can disable the alert on the Chime so that the Chime will not play the selected ringtone when someone rings your Doorbell.
- Simply tap the Snooze button on the App and choose chime snooze for a certain period of time.
- Disable the Chime Alert in Audio Settings/Indoor Chime. Steps in App: Doorbell settings > Smart > Audio settings/Indoor Chime.
Note: Please select your ringtone and ring volume with the buttons on the chime device.
