Which App do you use?
The Eufy App . You can download it via Google Play(Android) or App Store(iOS).
Will this support 5GHz Wi-Fi?

Does this wired doorbell come with the HomeBase?
No. 2K wired doorbell does not come with the HomeBase.
Is it weatherproof?
Yes. It is IP65 weatherproof.
What are the differences between eufy video doorbells?

What is the resolution of the 2K wired doorbell camera?
The 2K wired doorbell camera has a 2K resolution, which is 2560x1920.
Can I add a wireless eufy doorbell and use the same chime of this wired doorbell?
Sorry that this chime cannot work with the wireless doorbell. For eufy 2K wireless/battery doorbell, you can use the add-on chime with a USB dongle as a second chime.
Can you create your own greetings for the doorbell?

Does it work if the power goes out?
No. It would not work if the power is off.
Can this alert you to audio activity like alarm sounds?
No. It only notifies you if motion is detected or someone is ringing the doorbell.
What is the local storage capacity? Can it be increased?
The 2K wired doorbell has a built-in 4GB local storage. When the doorbell detects an event, it starts recording. The video is encrypted on bank-grade AES-128 bit and stored on the local storage. The user who has correct account info can access the doorbell, read and write the local storage via the eufySecurity app. For now, it cannot be expanded, but we are working on it.
Does the wired doorbell support NAS storage？
Sorry, it doesn't support NAS devices.
What happens after the 4GB local storage gets filled up?
The new videos will overwrite old videos.
Does the Doorbell work with 3rd-party smart platforms?
Integration with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and HomeKit are still undergoing development. Once the 3rd party compatibility feature is available, eufySecurity will send out a notice. Here is the list of doorbell's smart integration.

App Setup
Will the wired doorbell lose its App settings during a power outage?
Usually, it will not.
Does the wired doorbell support geofencing like other eufyCams?
No, it doesn’t.
Can I label the person?
No. The doorbell doesn't support facial recognition.
How do you update the firmware of this doorbell?
It updates automatically in the wee hours. You can force an update by selecting the device in the app and then check for firmware updates. If it fails, don’t worry. It will automatically update in the following one or two days.
We only have one email address and 2 android phones. Can I log in to the Eufy App with the same account on two phones?

Can I delete videos via the Eufy App?

How to share the doorbell with my family so that they can watch videos at the same time?
You can share the doorbell with your families up to five. Here is how: Share Your eufySecurity Devices With Your Family.
Does the app support multiple houses (home, vacation home) or do you need separate logins for each house?
The Eufy App supports devices in multiple houses. You can simply add the video doorbells or other eufy security systems to the same App account.
Can I view the videos while on my home network or can I view them remotely?
Yes. Wherever your phone has Internet access and eufySecurity system works fine, you can see the status of the doorbell on your phone via the Eufy App.
Does it have a night version?
Yes. It has an auto night version. You can enable it on the doorbell settings.
Can you set a schedule so that it only notifies/records during certain times?

Hardware Installation
Does this doorbell need to have an existing doorbell?
Not exactly. You can have the existing wires for power. Besides, you can also charge the wired doorbell via a power adapter. Learn more about How to Hardwire Your eufy Wired Doorbell without Existing Wires.
What size transformer is the 2K wired doorbell needed?
It needs a 16-24V 30VA or above transformer to work.
Can I use an ethernet cable instead of Wi-Fi with this doorbell?
No. The wired doorbell has to connect with Wi-Fi for proper working.
Would the original doorbell chime still function?
No. The wired video doorbell will replace the original doorbell chime. Please use the provided jumper to bypass the existing chime wires for sufficient power.
Does this require existing wiring?
Yes. It needs existing wiring or a power adapter for sufficient power.
Can I have two doorbells on the same circuit? I have your doorbell for the front door but also would like one for the back door as well.
Yes, but please make sure the volt of your transformer is enough for two Doorbells. Learn more from How to Connect Your Wired Doorbell With Transformer and Chime (US).
Do you have a larger angle of mounting wedge?
Sorry that we do not have a larger angle of mounting wedge. There is only one 15° mounting wedge within the package. You can purchase another 15° mounting wedge by contacting eufy customer service. With the second wedge attaching back-to-back to the first one, the doorbell can pan a total of a 30-degree angle. But you need to find longer screws to mount the Mounting Bracket to the wall.
What is the recommended height for mounting the wired doorbell?
Please place it at least 1.2m (48”) high off the ground for optimal viewing results. Learn more about Position Your Doorbell Properly.
Has anyone figured out why the doorbell chime hums when this product is installed and how to resolve the issue?

What's the maximum distance I can place the wireless chime away from the doorbell?
Normally the maximum distance is 50 meters with some barriers, such as a wall. In a line-of-sight and clean environment, it supports up to 100 meters.
How many chimes can I link up to the video doorbell?
