How does the 2K pro wired doorbell’s continuous recording work?
The 2K pro wired doorbell supports continuous recording and you can set the record duration:
- 24x7 and your camera will continuously record;
- Customize the recording schedule.
How to view continuous recordings in the eufy app?
In the eufy app's Security tab, play the live view of the 2K pro wired doorbell. Click the playback button, you can view all your history videos.
Will this support 5GHz Wi-Fi?

What happens after the 32GB local storage gets filled up?
The new videos will overwrite old videos.
Does this doorbell need to have an existing doorbell?

App Setup
How do you update the firmware of this doorbell?
It updates automatically in the wee hours. You can force an update by selecting the device in the app and then check for firmware updates. If it fails, don’t worry. It will automatically update in the following one or two days.
We only have one email address and 2 android phones. Can I log in to the eufy app with the same account on two phones?

Can I delete videos via the eufy app?

How to share the doorbell with my family so that they can watch videos at the same time?

Does the app support multiple houses (home, vacation home) or do you need separate logins for each house?
The eufy app supports devices in multiple houses. You can simply add the video doorbells or other eufy security systems to the same app account.
Can I view the videos while on my home network or can I view them remotely?
Yes. Wherever your phone has Internet access and the eufySecurity system works fine, you can monitor the status of the doorbell on your phone via the eufy app.
Does it have a night version?
Yes. It has an auto night version. You can enable it in the doorbell settings.
Does your doorbell work with Amazon Echo Show/Google Nest Hub?

Hardware Installation
What size transformer is the 2K Pro wired doorbell needed?
The same as the 2K/1080P wired doorbell. It needs a 16-24V 30VA or above transformer to work.
Does this require existing wiring?
Yes. It needs existing wiring or a power adapter for sufficient power.
What if I want another doorbell chime set up in my house?
You can purchase the add-on chime (T8740) on our store and connect it to your doorbell. The only difference between the add-on chime T8740 and the chime of the 2K pro wired doorbell is the appearance.
