We have a brick wall. How to mount?
It is easy to mount. The doorbell comes with a mounting bracket and you can install the mounting bracket via screws and included anchors. Please make sure to set up the eufySecurity app on your phone so you can view if your doorbell camera is showing you the area that you want to cover.
What is the maximum distance between the doorbell and the Homebase?
Usually, the Homebase can be 20-30ft from the doorbell. The actual range will vary depending on a number of factors such as the thickness of walls, obstacles inside the house, and the location of the router.
How far can the HomeBase be placed from the router?
In theory, the HomeBase can be 50ft from the WI-Fi router. The actual range will vary depending on a number of factors such as the thickness of walls, obstacles inside the house, and the location of the router.
I lost the detaching pin (quick release tool) after the setup process, how do I replace it?
Here is the list of a compatible third-party detaching pins. You can purchase it or contact eufy customer service.

Will this doorbell have 3M double-sided tape included if you're not allowed to screw in the wall?
Sorry that there is no 3M double-sided tape included in the package.
Can the doorbell unit be installed horizontally? Can the video rotate 90 degrees?
No, the doorbell cannot be installed horizontally.
Do you have a larger angle of mounting wedge?
Sorry that we do not have a larger angle of mounting wedge. There is only one 15° mounting wedge within the package. You can purchase another 15° mounting wedge by contacting eufy customer service. With the second wedge attaching back-to-back to the first one, the doorbell can pan a total of a 30-degree angle. But you need to find longer screws to mount the Mounting Bracket to the wall.
Moreover, if you need a larger angle, such as 30° or 45°, you can find it from other stores (US only). Here is the link for your reference.

Do you sell vertical wedges?

What size are the included screws? I would need to purchase brick screws and would like to know the size.
They are KAB 3.2*25mm and KAB3.5*35mm.
Does the 2K video doorbell have a battery? Can it be replaceable?
Yes, the battery doorbell has a built-in lithium 6500mAh battery. Sorry that the battery is irreplaceable, you can detach the doorbell from the doorbell/wall and charge it via the USB cable provided. We do not sell separate batteries.
Can I hard-wire the 2K battery doorbell?
Yes. The 2K battery doorbell can be hardwired to existing doorbell wires for continuous charging. Please make sure the voltage is 8-24V AC, 10VA, or above.

Can I purchase a power adapter to charge the battery doorbell constantly?
Yes, the power adapters for video doorbells on Amazon usually work. Here are the lists of compatible power adapters: 24V/500mA, 18V/500mA, 16V/800mA.

How long does it take to charge the battery?
If using 5V 1A, it takes about 6 hours to charge from 0% to 100%.
If using 5V 2A, it takes about 3 hours.
How long does the fully charged 2K battery doorbell last?
In most common scenarios, a fully charged doorbell can last for 180-day. eufy battery doorbell test was done in the following conditions:
- Temperature: 68°F (20°C)
- 10 motion detections per day
- Recorded for 30 seconds each time motion was detected
- Standby power consumption was included during usage time
Battery life varies, depending on the number of times motion is detected, recording time duration, and environmental temperatures.
I have a USB behind the doorbell on the outside of the house. Can I leave the USB plugged into the doorbell so I don't have to take it down to charge?
For continuous charging, please make sure that the USB port can provide stable voltage, such as 5V/1A. Otherwise, the doorbell might be discharged faster due to the possible huge amount of motion detection, causing the speed of consuming the battery faster than the speed of charging.
Is there any indication that the doorbell is charging?
If the doorbell is charging via USB cable indoor, then the LED indicator will be solid orange. The light will be solid blue if charging is finished.
If the doorbell is hardwired, there will be a green plug under the name of the doorbell in doorbell settings.
Can the eufy doorbell be installed with a UTP (CAT 5 / CAT6) cable?
No, it cannot.
Will this work with a mechanical chime?
Yes, the battery doorbell works with existing mechanical chimes.
Is there an add-on wifi chime that works with the battery-powered 2K doorbell and HomeBase?
Yes. We have launched it in our store (US/UK markets). Please choose the add-on chime with the USB dongle.
Can you turn off the doorbell chime using the Eufy app?
For the battery doorbell, the Homebase acts as a chime. You can turn off the Homebase chime through the app.
I have the wired version. If I get this for my back door is there a way to change the ringtone so I know if it's the front or back door?
Yes. You can change the ringtone via app.
